Men vad betyder det egentligen?

Precis som ett musikstycke består en parfym av mycket olika noter för att skapa en komposition. Individuella doftnoter som citrusfrukter, rosor, trä eller kryddor bildar en trestegssammansättning med topp-, hjärt- och basnoter, som också kallas en doftpyramid. Denna klassificering beskriver inte bara vilka doftnoter som ingår i en parfym, utan visar också hur en doft förändras över tid.

Vad är toppnoten i en parfym?

Med våra dofttvillingar är toppnoten det första du märker av doften direkt efter applicering. Det är därför till stor del ansvarig för första intrycket av dofttvillingen. Fräscha och citrusiga noter används ofta för toppnoten. Trots de friskare noterna är toppnoten i en parfym intensiv eftersom den måste dra uppmärksamhet till doften, men den bleknar också relativt snabbt för att ge plats åt hjärtat i dofttvillingen.

Vad är hjärtnoten i en parfym?

Du kan uppfatta hjärtnoten i våra dofttvillingar cirka tio till femton minuter efter att ha sprayat på doften. Med en genomsnittlig hållbarhet kan hjärtnoten uppfattas i cirka två till tre timmar. Som parfymens hjärta utgör den en stor del av kompositionen. Blommiga, fruktiga, gröna eller till och med kryddiga dofter används ofta i hjärtnoten i en parfym.

Vad är basnoten i en parfym?

Doften avslutas med basnoten. Basnoten av våra doftdubbler kan beskrivas som grunden och stabilisatorn av hela kompositionen och varar i flera timmar. Tyngre noter såsom mysk, trä, rökelse, vanilj, ambergris eller patchouli används ofta i basen av en parfym.
