ÉCLAT Ambrette Seeds & Iris opens with a herbal-fresh sweep of lavender and bergamot, softened almost instantly by a luminous, powdery iris that takes center stage. As the scent settles, this iris grows denser and more radiant, wrapped in airy musky ambrette seeds and warmed by amber and cardamom - a heart that feels cosmetic, refined and almost tear-jerkingly beautiful, like the first touch of a lipstick. A boozy cocoa-liqueur nuance drifts through the composition, adding a seductive, gourmand depth that keeps the sweetness from turning saccharine.
The base unfolds slowly into vetiver, patchouli, soft cedar and leather, grounding the powdery iris in a woody, faintly smoky warmth.
